Frequently Asked Questions

When does coverage begin?
The benefits available under any membership plan may be used ten (10) days after the effective date of the membership. This period allows us to review the account for any errors and fraudulent activity.

I just got a ticket.  If I become a member now, will you pay it?
You must be a member before you receive a violation in order for your claim to be processed.  That's why we urge everyone not to wait to sign up!  If you aren't a member and you sign up within 30 days of receiving the violation, we will give you a free month of service.

I want to purchase this plan for my child. What do I do?
It’s simple. Just enter your child's information in the top section of the Sign Up form.  The parent or guardian then fills out the rest of the form, agrees to the Terms and Conditions and submits the form. That’s it.

How do I know that you have received my ticket information?
You will receive a confirmation to the e-mail address you provided when you signed up along with a confirmation number verifying receipt of your claim form. If you have not received a confirmation e-mail from us within 3 business days, the transmission may not have been successful.

Is there a contract?
Once you purchase a plan, you can cancel at any time without penalty if you have not submitted a claim. If you have submitted a claim and have received payment or reimbursement, please refer to Terms and Conditions to see if cancellation conditions apply.

Do I have to sign up with PayPal?
No.  However, we recommend that you do.  It's secure, fast and easy.  It also assures that your reimbursement will be issued as quick as possible.  However, if you prefer not to use PayPal, you can continue to sign up without an account or call our customer service number and have a personal assistant help you.

If I send my ticket in after I’ve already paid it, will you reimburse me?
You have thirty (30) days from the date of the violation to submit a claim.  As long as your account is in good standing and the violation is applicable, TicketAssurance will take care of it.

What happens if I send a violation in and it is not paid by the court date/due date?
Ticket Assurance makes every effort to make your payment or reimbursement as quickly as possible. However, in certain circumstances (unable to verify claim, claim form and violation not received together or in time, delays in bank processing, etc.) your claim may not be handled by your fine due date. Ticket Assurance urges you to make payment and await your reimbursement from us. TicketAssurance is not responsible for additional fees or penalties assessed because of late or nonpayment.

How will my insurance company be notified?
TicketAssurance.com does not notify any insurance agency of any violation that you receive.

Can you take points off my license?
No. We recommend that you contact a legal representative for assistance.
